Racial Abilities

Dagger bonus - +1 bonus to attack rolls with daggers.
Infravision - 60' infravision range.
Less sleep - The elf requires only four hours worth of sleep to be rested. This is especially valuable to spell-casters.
Spell abilities - Once a day the elf can cast faerie fire, dancing lights, and darkness as a priest or wizard of the same level. When the character reaches 4th level, he can add levitate, detect magic, and know alignment.
Stealth - When the elf is alone and is not wearing metal armor, he gains a bonus to surprise opponents. The opponent suffers a -4 penalty, a -2 if the elf has to open a door.

Class Abilities

Thief
    Backstab - Surprise attack may inflict double damage. For every four levels beyond first, the damage multiplier increases by one.
    Bribe* 70% - Skill in administering bribes.
    Climb walls* 75% - Able to climb vertical or smooth surfaces.
    Detect noise* 20% - May hear faint noises.
    Escaping bonds* 20% - Skill at escaping bonds.
    Find/remove traps* 5% - Skill at finding and disarming traps.
    Hide in shadows* 25% - Grants the ability to hide in shadows.
    Move silently* 30% - May move without making a sound.
    Open locks* 65% - Skill at opening locks with the proper tools.
    Pick pockets* 80% - Skill at pilfering small items from pockets or purses.
    Read languages* - Skill at deciphering unknown texts.
Psionicist
    Contact - The psionicist receives the contact proficiency and gains attack modes as shown on the Psionic Progression table in the Skills & Powers book.
    Guarded Mind - The psionicist can block or resist attempts to usurp his will and gains a +1 bonus to all saving throws against spells from the enchantment/charm school.
    Mental Defense - The psionicist can close his mind to psychic contact and gains defense modes. The psionicist also receives a +2 bonus to his mental armor class.
    PSP bonus - The psionicist has a potent mind and rolls eight-sided dice for psionic strength points instead of six-sided dice.
    Range Boost - The ranges of all powers withinone of the psionicist's primary discipline increase by 25%. All powers with ranges of 0, self, or touch remain unaffected by this ability.
    Weapon Use - The psionicist can employ the following small weapons: hand crossbow, dagger, dart, dirk, knife, scourge, sickle, and short sword.

Traits

Ally, 5-point - Similar to the Contacts trait, this advantage gives the character someone that they are able to get in touch with who can provide aid. Unlike Contacts, however, this individual supplies not information, but actual assistance to the character and her friends. As with Contacts, there are three point values for this trait.

At 5 points, the character has a single ally not greater than 5th level in a specific location. Note that this need not be a specific character class, a local blacksmith with a space large enough for a human hidden beneath his anvil can be as much an ally as a local wizard. Allies at this level never have much political influence
